Market day

That's a big mess actually and I am not convinced at all with my inking but liked the scene, I might  be re-doing some similar drawing again.

I am never been able to get really happy with my inkings and had tried so many types of pens, the ones which I prefer are currently technical pens but still I am not convinced, I guess the solution is practice that's it.

Comic Strip #1

I plan to post a couple of small funny stories as the one below on this blog in future, I was doing quite a lot a comic stripe some years back, I feel like starting doing some again just for fun, in any event that's a pretty good exercise to get better at drawing appropriate character emotions in specific situations. The beauty with cartoons is there are no limits -in fact, yes there is one- your imagination.

Drawing, especially doodling can be extremely relaxing, but sometimes it is not, especially when you have drunk too much coffee and you are no more able to do a proper inking.

Rainy season

Where I live there are 2 seasons the dry and the rainy one, I have never been able to fully understand why I prefer the rainy one as everybody like the dry one, on one hand I can explain that the lighting and the loneliness of the streets is a lot more inspiring to me.

JOHN AND TERRY

Just a little exaggeration of what can be seen by kids on TV, I also used to like watching cartoons like this and most of us too, years after I am wonder whether all these cruel games between a mouse and a cat (in the current case) really make sense or wether they help kids to grow up.

... mmm ...

Maybe not because I am still watching them.

DOODLES

Well, I haven't been drawing seriously for almost 10 years and got started again a few months ago using sketchbooks and markers, I liked the idea of periodically sharing stuff on a blog and decided to give it a try.

Cheers,

Alex
